I'm sitting here listening to a weekend rebroadcast of the Nicole Sandler Show.
After talking with a guest about the new "mandate" proposal requiring that every American buy him/herself an insurance policy from one of the 1300 private medical insurers in the country, she remarked "that would be a huge subsidy given to the insurance industry. That would be corporate socialism."
Oh dear.
She's right that it would be another huge give-away to already bloated corporations, but she missed the terminology completely.
Too bad they aren't taking calls this weekend or I would call and tell her to read my blog from last Sunday.
"Corporate Socialism" actually has a name, dear.
It's called "Fascism."
Why is it conservatives have no qualms when it comes to tossing around scary sounding names and liberals can't even bring themselves to use them ...
... even when the actually apply?
