One more thing about that Grey Cup game in Canada

Calgary played host last weekend to the Grey Cup.
Whew!
That was a close one....
It almost might have been the White Cup.
Calgary and all of Alberta have been hammered with the first bonafide blizzard of the season and everything and everybody is busy trying to dig out: highway crews and air travelers alike.
Grey Cup fans should thank their lucky stars that the weather held for as long as it did. It is December in Canada, after all.
But wait, there's more.
After this blizzard blows through late Saturday or sometime Sunday comes the second blast -- cold air.
Really, really cold air.
It will get down into the minus-20 degree range through most of next week (we're talking Celsius here, which would be just slightly below zero Fahrenheit).
Those watermelon helmets would have really been fashion faux-pas this weekend.
Or at least very very uncomfortable.

PS: The Calgary professional soccer team?
It's called the Blizzard.
Maybe they should be playing this weekend.
